Description
Together with you and/or your group, we determine how best to divide three days of fly fishing across one, two or three world-class west coast salmon rivers: Southwest Brook, Harry’s River, and the world renown Upper Humber River – to name a few. Each river with its own wilderness character to induce in the angler that meditative ‘zone’ only anglers know. The pools and steadies of these three rivers are within an hours drive from Marble Inn Resort. And with multiple rivers to fish during your three days, we can better work with the weather, especially rain/water levels, and how it affects the rivers and influences fish in their migration between the pools, runs and steadies.
Western Newfoundland is known for an abundance of Salmon Rivers. Each with its own natural beauty but each with its own angling quirks. Some rivers are known as early run rivers that have a strong early run of grilse while others can take a few weeks into the season before the run shows up. Many of these smaller rivers are impacted by the rise and fall of the water levels or the movement of the Ocean Tides. Heavy Rains, a full moon and warmer temperatures can all impact the catch rate of these rivers. It’s our job to determine what’s going on in the region and recommend a plan that offers you the best chance of catching Atlantic Salmon.
